Overview - The Problem

Addy-Logistics is a logistics ride-hailing startup that enables intrastate and interstate delivery of items. The A-Logistics application enables customers to request rides at the comfort of their homes allowing more convenience.

Addy-Logistics is a logistics ride-hailing startup that enables intrastate and interstate delivery of items. The A-Logistics application enables customers to request rides at the comfort of their homes allowing more convenience. Developed an MVP (minimum viable product) and ready to scale the application dependent on the business decision.

The Problem

Customers find it difficult to visit a place physically to get an item due to busy schedules and heavy traffic.

My Role

  • Worked collaboratively and managed a tech team of 11 (2 Backend, 2 FrontEnd, 1 Product Designer, 1 DevOps, 2 Android Developer, 1 iOS Developer, 1 QA Tester, 1 Product Manager). Had daily time-boxed stand-up meetings, sprints, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ran different Google Forms to confirm and discover more information about target needs. In one of the first Google Forms, I’ve gotten +100 answers in 7 days without any massive web campaign.
  • Created Wireframes using Pen and Paper & Whimsical
  • UI competitive analysis of similar Logistics applications ordered via the application to meet the actual drivers and interviewed 3 Logistics Drivers.
  • Tested the prototype with final users in Nigeria.
  • Product Presentation, Group training, and Created Training manuals
  • Project management to ensure product was delivered within the agreed timeline using Scrum techniques and Excel for Project Management.

The Process

User Research

I didn’t have the opportunity to interview, physically, as many people as I would have loved to, as a result of the nationwide lockdown at the time. But I made use of people available around me and equally conducted a few virtual interviews. I asked a couple of questions and eventually created a couple of User Personas based on the interviews.

  • To Increase business efficiency above 50%
